"Yunfan is one of the best healers I have ever experienced, and I have worked with many over the years... My health has improved immensely since seeing her."

- Steve B.

Yunfan's Unique Approach

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a traditional Chinese medicine modality that has been used for thousands of years. It involves the use of hair-thin needles to stimulation of specific points on the body, which activates the body's self-healing mechanisms to restore balance and improve overall health.

Yin Yang Healing

Yin Yang Healing is a non-invasive traditional Chinese medicine modality predating both acupuncture and herbal medicine. It involves the use of touch, gentle pressure, and massage on specific areas of the body, such as the abdomen, hands, wrists, legs, and spine, to harmonise energy and restore balance.

Combined Approach

By integrating these two therapies, a wider range of benefits can be achieved more efficiently and effectively compared to using each therapy alone. The therapies work synergistically to support the body's natural healing mechanisms and promote holistic well-being.

A Journey to Healing

Previously a Civil and Environmental Engineer, I faced a severe health crisis over ten years ago and turned to Traditional Chinese Acupuncture as a last resort before surgery. Remarkably, after just two treatments, my health was restored, a profound experience that inspired me to pursue a career in healing. Following my health science degree, I trained under the esteemed Chinese healer Raymond Yu in Sydney, who recognised my unique gift and accepted me as his apprentice. I later further honed my skills at a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in China.

Now a fully qualified and trained acupuncturist, I returned to New Zealand in 2023 to open my own practice. I am driven by my deep passion and extensive understanding of the body's energy system through Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Client Feedback

"I look forward to my treatments. They've been so beneficial to my recovery. I truly believe my recovery is quicker... She's so professional and a pleasure to have her treat me."

- Georgina C.

"I felt my body respond immediately. It was quite amazing! I feel so fortunate that we have this wonderful therapy available. I felt immediate confidence in Yunfan who was so skilled..."

- Erica S.

"I highly, highly recommend Yunfan...  Yunfan treated my strained neck and spine after open heart surgeries and breaking my ribs - the relief and progress in a short time has been fantastic."

- Rob M.

What is Chinese Acupuncture?

Acupuncture is a time-honoured modality within Traditional Chinese Medicine, practiced for thousands of years. This method utilises fine, hair-thin needles to gently stimulate specific points on the body, enhancing the flow of Qi - our vital life force - with minimal discomfort. By restoring the smooth flow of Qi, acupuncture promotes balance and improves overall health.

Acupuncture can be used to treat a variety of conditions such as chronic pain, headaches, digestive issues, infertility, depression, insomnia and many others. Additionally, it has proven effective in alleviating symptoms related to medication side effects, such as nausea, oedema and diarrhoea.

What is Yin Yang Healing?

Yin Yang Healing is a non-invasive ancient technique practiced for over 5,000 years. This exceptionally gentle and effective method is designed to meet the unique needs of various individuals. During a session, the practitioner utilises gentle touch, pressure, and massage on specific areas of the body, including the abdomen, hands, wrists, legs, and spine, to harmonise energy and restore balance.

This therapy is particularly suitable for children, individuals with blood clotting disorders, and those who prefer non-invasive treatments. Yin Yang Healing offers a safe and nurturing option that addresses specific health concerns while promoting overall well-being.

Why are Chinese Acupuncture and Yin Yang Healing Used Together?

The combination of Chinese Acupuncture and Yin Yang Healing (CAH) allows for a comprehensive approach to address specific needs and promote balance. By integrating these two therapies, a wider range of benefits can be achieved more efficiently and effectively compared to using each therapy alone. The therapies work synergistically to support the body's natural healing mechanisms and promote holistic well-being.
